For your information. I remember that in one or more of the SC32/WG2
documents reference is made to the FGDC in particular. Further there is the
question of how ISO DIS 19115 - Metadata and ISO/IEC FCD 11179-3 can
interoperate.

Ray could you post the attached document to the SC32/WG2 document register?

Attached is Rick Pearsall's draft of the US Metadata strategy.

Norm Anderson (from the US - Lockeed Martin) has proposed that this be part
of our next telecom between the CGSB and ANSI on a joint metadata standard.
